Summary: Associate professor in Management Information Systems, my role involves lecturing, programme leadership, programme validation, syllabus planning, course redesign, content update, seminars, research, and other scholar activities.
Brief Bio: I lecture in several subjects including: Systems Analysis, System Modelling, Database Design, Programming, Management Information Systems, Project Management, Advance Database Development, Graphics and Animation. I am a keen researcher in the areas of teaching and technology, green sustainability in IT, and combating spread of misinformation online. In addition, I am actively involved in external examination and programme validation for Computing or Business Information Systems courses.
Current Role: Team leader for MIS Department. The role involves supporting and managing a small team of dynamic and creative academics; developing the MIS courses to deliver outstanding students' academic experience; ensuring the successful completion of academic activities, research activities, and the learning objectives of the Business College. This role complements my teaching and continuous academic research activities. I have been involved in consultancy work in the areas of systems analysis, database systems and database-driven web applications, NFC systems, barcode scanning, and facial recognition systems.
